The Union Public Service Commission has released a recruitment advertisement of various vacancies under Defence Academy and Training Academy. Total 509 vacancies have been issued to be filled by eligible and well confident applicants. CDS Exam II 2013 stands for Combined Defence Services Exam II 2013 which is conducted by UPSC for recruiting candidates for various vacancies under Academies like Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy. UPSC recruiting aspirants for 250 posts in Indian Military Academy, 40 posts of Indian Naval Academy, 32 posts in Air Force Academy, 175 posts in Officers Training Academy (Men) and 12 posts in Officers Training Academy (Women).

Unmarried men aspirants who born not sooner than 2nd July, 1990 and not later than 1st July, 1995 can apply for the Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy.
Unmarried men candidates who born not sooner than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st July, 1995 can apply for the Air Force Academy.
Now the unmarried or unmarried male candidates who born not sooner than 2nd July, 1989 and not later than 1st July, 1995 can apply for the Officers Training Academy SSC course.
Unmarried women/ issue less divorces/ issue less widows who born not sooner than 2nd July, 1989 and not later than 1st July, 1995 for Officers Training Academy SSC women for Non- technical posts.
Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized University or Institute for the Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy.
For the Indian Naval Academy applicants need to possess a Graduation Degree in Engineering with Physics and Mathematics of a recognized University.
For Air Force Academy applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of a recognized Institute.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates need to apply online for filling the Registration Form by following the instructions shown on the website www.upsconline.nic.in. The application fee for the registration is Rs. 200/- for the aspirants who belongs to General or OBC category. The female SC/ST aspirants are exempted from the application fee. The payment can be done online by using Visa/Master credit or debit card and by cash at any branch of the State Bank of India.
The aspirants will be shortlisted according their performance in Written Test and Interview/Personality Test.
